Program

We lay the groundwork for a strong start

We start preparing a child for school from day one – not by teaching them what they will learn in first grade, but by building self-confidence, independence, and a lifelong curiosity about the world.

Culture is the foundation of our program.

We teach you to see, so you can perceive

This is how children learn about the world. We don't talk about art – we show it. We don't read about museums – we visit them regularly.

Program

Trips and Experiences

Children discover the world where life thrives – in museums, theaters, and parks.

Program

Space and Aesthetics

We surround children with beauty and harmony, shaping their sense of aesthetics from an early age.

Program

Sensitivity

We teach empathy towards other people, animals, and the nature around us.

We give tools, not answers.

We spark curiosity to inspire action

Mathematics

Numicon

Number shapes that allow children to "see" numbers and understand the relationships between them through touch and sight.

Language

Glottodidactics

Innovative preparation for reading and writing, based on playing with letters and sounds.

Research

School readiness

We effectively prepare children for the next stage of education

Focus

Through dedicated exercises, we teach children to focus on tasks, which is crucial for the school system. We develop patience and the ability to work quietly.

Independence

We foster self-belief. Children at Zegar Słoneczny learn to manage their time, take care of their belongings, and make daily decisions independently.

Knowledge base

We provide a solid foundation in speech and mathematics. Our older children leave preschool with all the necessary skills to start first grade.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you don't find the answer to your question here, please contact us by phone.

We invite you to our garden throughout the summer holidays, where our new students, accompanied by their loved ones, can get to know our kindergarten, teachers, and other children. We always approach each child individually. Educators will advise you on how to best guide this process to help your child adapt. We have the entire summer to calmly and thoroughly prepare for the kindergarten adventure. Parents are always welcome; our doors are open to you.

NO. We also teach how to use the toilet. Every child has their own pace and rhythm. The beginning of kindergarten education is a significant challenge for the entire family and often causes tension, so we ask that you do not add extra stress to your child or force the self-sufficiency process against their natural rhythm. Even children who are already independent often have trouble with self-care activities in the first few months. Therefore, we ask for your patience and understanding for your little one. This is a very intimate area and often a difficult barrier to overcome in a new environment. Our team is happy to help and advise.

YES. We go outside in every season, except when the weather is definitively unhealthy for children. We have a beautiful, large garden where we love to spend time. Children spend as much time outdoors as possible. When it's warm, some activities are also conducted outside. Therefore, we ask that children also have wellington boots and clothes appropriate for the current season and weather in their cubby.

Depending on the child's stay duration, we provide meals: breakfast, a two-course lunch (for the younger group, separated into soup and a main course), and two afternoon snacks.

Lunches are delivered by a catering company specializing in meals for young children, with whom we have cooperated for many years. We also accommodate special diets based on medical indications. Our team prepares the other meals. Menus are created according to dietitians' guidelines in cooperation with children and parents. We adapt them not only to the guidelines but also to children's favorite tastes and preferences. We teach children healthy eating habits. With every breakfast, we serve a mix of fresh, seasonal vegetables, which children happily eat. Our favorite treats include: fruit smoothies with spinach, avocado paste sandwiches, and other delicious items. We also focus on organizing meal times, thereby striving to teach children the value of spending time together at a family table. We also teach independence, table etiquette, and aesthetics – children are involved in setting and clearing the table after meals.

YES. We have many tasks and activities, so after lunch, children need a moment of relaxation and rest. Its form depends on the children's needs: we quiet down and darken the rooms, and children listen to a story or relaxing music. Children who need it have time for a nap. Rested, with new strength and energy, we return to play.

DAILY. Educators greet children and parents and say goodbye at the end of the day. They are available to parents and are happy to share what happened during the day and answer questions. If you need a longer conversation, simply arrange a convenient time for everyone. During the year, we also organize two parent meetings. The first is a general meeting for everyone at the beginning of the year to provide all necessary information, and the second is an individual meeting after the first semester, during which we discuss the results of your child's observations. This is a time to summarize six months of work with your child. Additionally, we organize events with parent participation several times a year. This allows us to get to know each other better and is also a good opportunity to build relationships with neighbors, often leading to new friendships and acquaintances.

We use the LIVEKID application. Through it, you can not only cancel meals or receive bills for your child's stay at the kindergarten, but you also have access to the daily schedule, event calendar, and upcoming activities. The system reminds you of important events. You can find current announcements there, and you can also contact us through it. There is also a gallery with photos from various events and daily kindergarten life.

We discuss all the details at the first organizational meeting.

From the very first day at kindergarten, your child will definitely need comfortable, safe slippers and a set of (preferably labeled) spare clothes. We also emphasize the importance of regularly checking the amount of spare clothing in their locker in the changing room. Even a fully independent child can spill, get wet, or get dirty.

YES, we are open all year round, including during HOLIDAYS and WINTER BREAK.

We are a small, intimate facility. We have two age groups: younger and older. The boundary between them is flexible; we always assign children to groups individually, taking into account their needs and preferences.

YES. We implement recommendations from opinions and assessments, provided that the nature of the disability allows the child to attend our facility. We make every effort to support the child according to their needs. We have a full team of specialists and appropriate educational resources.

We are a PUBLIC institution. This means that the first 5 hours of a child's stay are free, and each subsequent hour costs 1.44 PLN. Meal costs (breakfast, lunch, two afternoon snacks) are, of course, added to the stay costs. Everything is accounted for in the LIVEKID system, which generates a bill at the end of the month.

YES. As part of our program, we go on monthly trips to museums, galleries, or theaters. We regularly take advantage of the offerings at the Zalesie Górne Culture Club and also visit our local Zalesie library.

YES. To complement the programs offered at the kindergarten, we organize thematic workshops such as beekeeping, nature, and culinary sessions.
